Provide daily support of Morgan Stanley electronic internal/external trading back office applications for the Institutional Equities division. Candidate will provide support both in person and via hotline. Responsibilities include application testing/verification/deployment, manning hotline, application troubleshooting and resolution, and interfacing with internal operations clients. Business line products being covered range from Cash, Programs, Derivatives, Swaps, Algorithmic and Client Facing systems. Candidate will be in close, constant contact with the operations unit, and will often act as a liaison between the business and development groups.
Skills Required
- Ability to function in a high pressure environment,
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize,
- 5+ years of experience with Unix/FIX
- Equity product knowledge a plus
Skills Desired
Experience working with back office equity trading systems.
Knowledge of equities trading and tradeflow.
XML protocol, Perl, Sybase
