It’s no secret that managing advertising policies can be a major headache for many professional online video sites. A better mousetrap for video management would cut down on complexity while helping video publishers boost advertising revenue. That mousetrap may be at hand now through a partnership between thePlatform, the video management subsidiary of Comcast, and online video advertising network provider Tremor Media. As a result of the partnership, Tremor’s Acudeo ad policy and management tools will be incorporated in thePlatform’s Media Publishing System (mps).  With this new toolset, companies with premium online video sites will now be able to manage advertising policies, formats, patterns and delivery through a single, user-friendly interface. Companies that already have existing sites will be able to integrate multiple advertising networks as well as build new video sites that require a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
