Many organizations have adopted the Socialtext collaboration platform, which integrates social networking and collaboration functionality to help workers stay connected and engaged. That’s fine when you’re in the office, but what about when you’re working remotely? Socialtext Mobile, a new mobile interface for Socialtext, holds the answer. With Socialtext Mobile, workers can stay involved in microblogging conversations, stay apprised of what’s going on via activity streams, get to the workspace content they need, access co-worker profiles, and more from any place at any time. Socialtext Mobile automatically detects when you log in from a mobile phone and serves up an optimized mobile interface that lets you continue to work the way you do while in the office. Platform independent, Socialtext Mobile provides support for a variety of mobile devices. It is currently in beta, with the beta version supporting Blackberry, iPhone and Android devices. Socialtext Mobile comes free as part of Socialtext.
